What is a Rally?

A Rally is when we get together, usually a weekend, and make friends, socialise, have competitions, barbecue, together, and generally enjoy ourselves.
A fresh water supply is provided and a point at which to empty your Elsan.
Electric hook ups are not normally available except on Club Sites
You do not have to take part in any activity that you do not wish to, you may just enjoy the surrounding area or come for a quiet weekend, the choice is yours.
Most weekend rallies open on Friday afternoon and end on Sunday at about 4:00 p.m.
Usually on Sunday at about 11:00 a.m. we gather for ‘Flagpole’ which is when information about events, presentations are made, competition results are announced and the raffle is drawn.
On the photos page of this website you can see pictures taken on some of our rallies.

Only members of the Caravan Club are permitted to attend rallies. You do not have to be registered with the West Sussex Centre to attend one of our rallies. If you do register with the West Sussex Centre you will receive a Handbook giving all the details of our rallies and other information which will enable you to easily book in to a Rally. Only Caravans, & Motor-Caravans are permitted. No Tents.

Information of all our rallies is given in the Rally pages of this site. Just click on details to take you straight to that rally, or choose a Month and you will be directed to that months rallies.

If you are not a member of the Caravan Club, then you can use the links page to connect with the Caravan Club’s website for information on how to join.
If you are a member of the Caravan Club and would like to join the West Sussex Centre, you should contact the Caravan Club and ask to register with the West Sussex Centre, you will then receive a West Sussex Centre handbook..

How do I come to a Rally?

You must first book in to that rally. There is no deposit to pay on normal rallies.
A booking form is available for you to complete, download and print. This should then be sent to the Rally Officer for that rally. To obtain this information you will need to contact either the Rally Secretary, or the Hon. Secretary, who will give you the relevant details.  The Rally Secretary, or Hon. Secretary’s telephone number may be obtained from your Caravan Club Handbook.
